NIKOLAUS DORRER
Nikolaus Dorrer works in relation to questions of identity, connected with memory and space.
The art process represents the idea of journey and of the idea that memory is an active reconstruction, a re imagining, rebuilding of knowledge in the light of the brand new framework of the latest moment. The notion of the temporary and transitional is central to the work which deals with separation, reconnection, conflict and resolution as ongoing processes.
